My Meaning Of Life

Let me start off with my meaning of life.  What I believe is I come here (born in this world) to experience, to participate and to love.  To experience what life has to offer and experience whatever comes my way.  The experience could be joy, pain, sorrow or sickness – and at the end death.  I will happily enjoy it every step of the way.

That’s why I have tried many things – fell in love, get married and have children.  Learned to play piano, learned bricklaying, learned to do cross-stitch, read lots of books and many other activities.  Migrated from Hong Kong to New Zealand, then to Australia. I don’t know where I will be going next.

I would love to be around with people who appreciate who I am.  Someone who would enjoy my friendship and companionship.  I would love to live in a small town where everyone knows about each other.  A place I would be proud to call it home.

As I continue my journey in life, I will keep learning new things.  I will try to experience or do something that I have never done before continuously.

I will keep my heart young and my brain active.  I believed that if I have a child inside of me, I will have more fun.

I also believe that I come here to love.  I see everyone in this world as my bothers and sisters.   Many times, I spent more than half an hour talking to someone I met for the first time.  My wife was very surprised and she couldn’t believe that it was the first time we met. How could I be able to talk to a total stranger like we already knew each other?

They would tell me their life stories while we were standing in a supermarket aisle or while we were watching our children playing tennis.  I don’t see them as strangers.

I loved to listen to their stories.  I learned heaps of things by just listening to other people.  The knowledge is unavailable in books or even on the internet.  Each one of us has our unique life-story and each one of us see the world in a different angle.  We have our individual unique experiences.

I like to think a lot. Such as, why people behave in certain way?  Why the law is setup this way? Why and why and why?  I will tell you all about it in my stories, so come back here from time to time.  I will post it here for you to read.  At the same time, I would like you to leave me a comment, a note, your life story or your belief.

My brothers and sisters.  What is your life-story?

Cheers,

-MisterWailor

Thanks for your comment. You are correct that our man-made world is not perfect.
It is very sad that we cannot do anything about it. But none the less, we need to have kindness in our heart.

Learning is a great way to keep our brain young and healthy and at the same time we can enrich our ourselves. We are all different and come from a different background. We all have a story to tell.

      Dear MisterWailor,

I enjoyed reading your post. I am a person who doensn’t really know how to communicate with people in person. However, I find myself easier to talk and chat with people online. Maybe I am the Y-generation folks but I am still working to get myself connected to other people in some way.

      Thanks,
      Alex

        Hi Alex,

Thank you for leaving me your comment. I think why you are not good in communicating with other people face to face is either you are too shy or lack of confident. You need to relax a bit and also more practice will help.

        Come back and visit often.
        Cheers,
        MisterWailor
